This excursion takes place on board the semi-submersible “Yellow Submarine”. Unlike the other boats, this semi-submersible allows us to observe the whales submerged in their world. Underwater, the perspective is completely different, the experience is the same as if you were diving with them.
Puerto Pirámides, Chubut Province, Argentina, is the starting point for a patient exploration of the Valdes Peninsula. Your feet will be touching the only urban center within the Peninsula Valdes Natural Protected Area, also declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for preserving and conserving natural sites of exceptional importance and for its great marine biodiversity.
Here the action starts. In Peninsula Valdes, we are going to get into the semi-submersible which will allow us to observe the whales submerged in their world. Underwater, the perspective is completely different, the experience is the same as if you were diving next to them. There, you can observe this specie peacefully without contributing to their exploitation. On board, passengers can move around freely and also opt for the ship's deck to observe from the surface of the water as in traditional whale watching.
Puerto Piramides is going to be our end point. Once we finish living that incredible experience, we are going to come back to Puerto Piramides.
