Experience the thrill of dog sledding—even when there’s no snow. From May to November, there is no snow this far north, but the huskies’ need for exercise never stops. To keep their paws moving, ride a wheeled sled—a specially designed cart that allows these incredible dogs to run and pull, giving you an unforgettable adventure through pristine Arctic landscapes.
Sit back and enjoy the ride, or take the wheel yourself. If you prefer to relax, your guide will drive the cart with 6–12 huskies, letting you marvel at the teamwork and strength of these amazing dogs. If you want to drive a team yourself, your guide will drive an ATV in front, while you drive the cart commanding 4–6 huskies pulling it. Swap halfway with your companion so everyone gets a turn behind the reins.
Your journey will take you through crystal-clear streams, past small waterfalls, along dense forest paths, and up to a higher clearing with sweeping views of the valley framed by towering mountains. Upon returning to the husky farm, enjoy some well-earned dog petting time—a chance to thank these extraordinary athletes for their efforts. To finish, relax with a warm cup of coffee at the farm and soak in the serene surroundings.
*Up to three people can participate in the tour at a time. One person can drive the cart, one can sit on the cart, and one person can sit on the ATV with the guide. During the tour, we’ll switch so that everyone gets to try everything they want to.
