Cape Town's best and most authentic wine tasting experience! The wine tractor is a hop-on hop-off tour of some of the finest wine farms & hidden gems in Stellenbosch's Golden Triangle. Explore the vineyards & working wine farms, visiting grand estates, boutique producers, and historic homesteads. Enjoy a unique perspective that only a tractor can give you as you travel through the back-roads and vineyards while our friendly guides teach you about the area and Stellenbosch's history of wine-making. At every farm you will get 75 minutes to relax and enjoy the wines or grab a bite to eat at a relaxed un-rushed pace before setting off the the next farm.

Most farms are child-friendly, offering kids' areas and activities.

Only 35 min from Cape Town, 20 from the airport.

Please note that cellar tours are not included in the tour. It is a wine tasting tour sampling the different wines produced on each different farm. Cellar tours can be arranged directly with some farms at a extra cost

  • Guests need to arrive 30 min in advance at Eikendal vineyards before scheduled departure time to sign in and there is a welcome taster on arrival
  • Tastings are not included in the standard ticket. Tastings cost R100 each at the various estates. Vouchers for tastings can be purchased at our ticket office
  • Daily shuttle from Cape Town is available at an additional cost of R350, the shuttle needs to be booked directly with our ticket office 24 hours in advance. PLS note space on the shuttle is limited
  • Shuttle is only available for the 10:30 or 11:30 tractor departure
