Overview

  • A Blue Cave and Hvar tour is one of the most popular day trips in Croatia—and for good reason. It combines natural wonders, historic charm, and island-hopping adventure in one unforgettable experience. The Blue Cave on Biševo Island is the star of the show, sunlight hits the sea floor and reflects upward, bathing the cave in an ethereal blue glow. It's a rare natural phenomenon. Next stop is Komiza town, well know by Mamma Mia shooting location. Next hidden gem is Stiniva bay, well known beach. Also we will visit Blue lagoon and as last stop is Hvar town. Since this is private tour it can be adjusted on this route by your wish. You can agree with skipper how to divide time between each locations.

Activity itinerary

Blue Cave

  • 1h
The Blue Cave (Modra Špilja) on Biševo Island, is a mesmerizing natural wonder that captivates visitors with its unique geological and visual phenomena. The cave's most distinctive feature is its ethereal blue glow. Sunlight enters through an underwater opening, refracts through the water, and reflects off the white limestone floor, illuminating the cave with a surreal blue light. This phenomenon creates a shimmering effect, making the sea appear silver and the cave's interior glow with a magical hue. Access to the Blue Cave is by boat, and visitors typically spend about 10 minutes inside to experience the light effects. Swimming is not permitted to preserve the cave's delicate ecosystem. Entrance tickets for the cave are 18 or 24 euro per person, depend on period.

Komiza

  • 1h
Komiža is a small fishing town on the island of Vis. It's full of charm and fascinating details. Home to One of the Oldest Fishermen’s Museums in the World. Komiža Inspired the Film "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again". The harbor scenes were mostly filmed here!

Podhumlje

  • 15m
The island of Vis in Croatia is not just known for its beautiful beaches and historic towns like Komiža—it's also home to fascinating limestone caves that have formed over thousands of years through the action of water on the island’s karst landscape. These caves offer both geological wonder and a sense of mystery, making them an intriguing part of Vis’s natural heritage.

Stiniva Cove

  • 30m
Stiniva Cove, located on the southern side of Vis Island, is one of the most breathtaking and unique beaches in Croatia. In 2016, Stiniva Beach was named the Best Beach in Europe by European Best Destinations. Stiniva was created when the ceiling of a large sea cave collapsed, leaving a narrow entrance between high cliffs and a secluded pebble beach behind. Accessible Only by Boat or Hike. Though not as famous as Komiža in the “Mamma Mia” shoot, Stiniva's raw, cinematic quality has made it a popular location for documentaries and travel features about secret beaches of Europe.

Budikovac Island

  • 1h
The Blue Lagoon at Budikovac Island, also known as Veli Budikovac, is a hidden gem in the Adriatic Sea, located just southeast of Vis Island. This secluded lagoon is renowned for its stunning turquoise waters, surrounded by lush greenery and rocky shores, making it a perfect spot for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxation.

Hvar Island

  • 2h 30m
Hvar, the sunniest island in Croatia, is a stunning blend of natural beauty and rich history. What makes it especially charming is its lavender-scented hills, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and the timeless elegance of Hvar Town, with its marble streets, Venetian architecture, and a hilltop fortress offering panoramic views of the Adriatic.
