What you can expect
Boarding at the port of Milazzo at 11:15 am
Departure at 11:45 am
Leaving the port of Milazzo, with the suggestive view from the sea of the Mamertine promontory where the Milazzo Castle stands out, we will head towards Panarea - unique for its charm and beauty.
Once we reach the island, before disembarking, you will have the opportunity to admire the suggestive Cala Juco Bay and the small promontory of Capo Milazzese, an incomparable inlet with breathtaking colors and crystal clear sea that hosts a small pebble beach. Above, as a frame, a prehistoric village dating back to the Bronze Age (1400 BC) with the remains of 22 oval-shaped stone huts and one quadrangular-shaped one, perhaps a place of meeting and worship for the community. Continuing towards the port of the island we will encounter the Caletta degli Zimmari and the Drauto Bay.
Once you reach the port of San Pietro, a free stop of about 2 hours/2 hours and 15 minutes is planned.
Departure from Panarea and passage through the ancient volcanic caldera whose remains form a mini-archipelago in front of the island: Dattilo, Panarelli, Lisca Nera, Lisca Bianca, Bottaro, Basiluzzo with Punta Spinazzola where the internal part of an ancient crater, the Grotta del Carbone, is located.
Transfer then to the island of Stromboli, “iddu” and once at the port of S. Vincenzo-Scari a free stop of 2h and 15/30 min is planned at the end of which, after boarding, a visit from the sea to Strombolicchio is planned and subsequently the transfer under the Sciara del Fuoco where a short stop from the sea is planned to admire the activity of the volcano with the lights of the sunset.
Transfer to Milazzo with arrival expected between 9:30 PM and 10:30 PM (this change is subject to sunset time)
STROMBOLI: the black giant that emerges in all its grandeur from the deep blue sea, for millennia one of the most active volcanoes in the world, with its “Strombolian bursts” - explosions of lapilli, ash and magma visible at regular intervals of 15/20 minutes is like a lighthouse for sailors. From the port of San Vincenzo - Scari, immediately attached, long black beaches of pebbles and sand alternate. From here, a road crosses the village climbing up to reach the Church of San Vincenzo with its panoramic square in front from which you can see “Strombolicchio” - also called grandfather of Stromboli - a part of solidified internal lava of the oldest volcanic cone of all the Aeolian Islands, above which the Island's lighthouse was installed.
