Enjoy a quiet and exciting time on the waters of Makena bay Kayaking and Snorkeling. This area is renown for the abundance of turtles - nicknamed “Turtle Town”. Rated as the number one spot for Kayaking and snorkeling, this should be on your Maui “To Do” list. The Makena coastline is sprinkled with beach front homes, sandy beaches and palm trees. What a great spot!

We paddle about four miles on this tour (plus or minus based on conditions, etc) and enjoy a couple of different snorkeling opportunities. We take advantage of the best weather window by starting early at 7am and ending about 11am before the trade winds start to pick up. In between, you’ll enjoy a good paddle under the Maui sun, enjoy the sights and views as we paddle from one snorkeling location to another.
