Following this trail for approximately 2,25 km, you'll find yourself standing before the majestic frozen Orvvosfossen waterfall. Its crystalline cascade is a mesmerizing spectacle, where water has turned to ice, harmonizing with the tranquil winter surroundings.So, fasten your snowshoes, inhale the crisp winter air, and let the captivating wilderness of Alta guide your path as you delve into this frozen wonder.Your adventure begins with a 30-minute drive to your historical Gargia Lodge. From the lodge, we'll set off into the Gargia forest. Along the trail, breathe in the invigorating winter air and perhaps catch glimpses of wildlife. After about 1.5 hours, we'll arrive at the frozen waterfall. On the riverbank, take a short break and savor coffee, tea, and snacks.The tour is 4,5km roundtrip and it take about 1,5 hours to reach the waterfall.‍‍ Please note: the trip has some uphill sections, so moderate fitness it recommended.
