Swim alongside whale sharks, the world’s largest and gentlest fish, in the stunning waters of La Paz. From November to April, these ocean giants gather near El Mogote, a sandbar rich in plankton that creates the perfect feeding ground. This natural phenomenon offers a rare opportunity to see these graceful creatures up close in their habitat. Equipped with snorkeling gear swim in shallow waters, while observing these gentle giants as they move peacefully through the ocean. This adventure is accessible and unforgettable. Starting from the Fiscal Dock in La Paz, search for the whale sharks upon arrival. We'll swim with the whale shark in groups of 5, ensuring all our visitors fully enjoy the experience. From the moment we enter the whale shark area to the moment we arrive back to land it lasts approximately 3 hours. Typically, we start our day meeting at 7.15 am, but this can vary depending on the time slot assigned to our boat by parkrangers. First and second time slots are assigned the previous day at 3 pm. Third and fourth time slots are assigned the same day of the trip at 7 am. Not every boat gets a time slot every day, so try to have flexibility on your trip for this activity.
