Know before you book

  • Get picked up from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang and Tubkaek Beach. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by email after you have made the booking.
  • If you stay at Railay Beach, we offer a pickup service from the boat ticket office at Ao Nam Mao Pier which is just a 15-minute longtail boat ride from Railay East.
  • If you stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas, please take the hotel shuttle boat to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang.

What you can expect

Smart Cook in Krabi offers you the opportunity to learn how to cook real Thai food in a traditional Thai home-style setting with individual hands-on method taught by friendly knowledgeable Thai cooking experts. Learn about Thai spices and how to use them, learn how to concoct and cook a few of the most popular dishes in Thailand and feast on what you’ve just prepared with your group of apprentice Thai-cuisine cookers.

Get conveniently picked up from your hotel in Krabi and start the class with a short introduction about the basics of Thai cuisine. The Thai cooking course at Smart Cook in Krabi is taught by a highly experienced and well-regarded Thai chef who can teach you about ingredients, techniques and the all-important balance of flavors.

You will only use the freshest ingredients. Further, the cooking areas and utensils are kept well cleaned and are sanitized daily and cooking is done in our clean open air kitchen. The class size is limited to 10 persons in order to maximize individual attention.

The knowledge of Thai cooking is a souvenir that will last on your entire life and will enable you to re-live your Krabi holiday on the rainiest days.
