Departing from Skaftafell, this adventure takes you onto the Falljökull outlet glacier, part of the massive Vatnajökull ice cap. Feel the crunch of the ice beneath your crampons as you trek through a landscape of frozen peaks and deep crevasses before stepping inside the blue heart of the glacier.

Your journey begins at the Arctic Adventures hut in Skaftafell National Park, where you’ll be fitted with glacier equipment, including crampons, an ice axe, a harness, and a helmet. A short drive then brings us right to the foot of the glacier. As you ascend the glacier, your guide will navigate you through a labyrinth of ice formations and moulins. The highlight of the trip is reaching the blue ice cave. These caves are natural wonders that change every season, making each visit unique.
