This is two and half hour tour is a great way to try kayaking and have a guided tour of Sitka's historic and cultured coastal community. You will have a great way to see all the wildlife Sitka has to offer above and below the water. You will meet at the cruise port, and head to our Kayaking point.  The adventure starts with as we head out at a leisurely pace to discover sheltered waterways, harbors and coves. Sitka's dependence on the sea will be fully evident as you paddle near fishermen, tug boat crews and Coast Guard sailors all tending to their vessels.  Past the harbor you can delight in the stunning forests, whilst searching for the many wildlife Sitka has. We aim during the two and half hours to visit an aquarium and salmon hatchery, or even watch wild salmon gathering near a stream, preparing to spawn.  Your knowledgeable guide runs through some intriguing tales of the local area, explain the ecology of the forests and ocean, pointing out wildlife and interesting sights.
