Departing from Lisbon by private vehicle, we will head to Sintra, located just 40 minutes northwest of the Portuguese capital. Known for its stunning scenery and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sintra enchants with its majestic palaces and the rich vegetation that surrounds it. In Sintra we will have our time to visit Quinta da Regaleira mystical gardens and the breathtaking views from Pena Palace Terraces and Grounds. Sintra Royal Palace and the Moorish Castle will be seen from the outside.
The tour continues with a visit to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, where the “sea begins and the land ends”, as the poet Luís de Camões said. Prepare to be blown away by the grandeur of the cliffs that fall directly into the ocean, and by the serenity that emanates from this emblematic place.
The journey ends in the charming town of Cascais, a former fishing village that has now been transformed into a cosmopolitan seaside retreat. Here, you can stroll along the seafront promenade, discover the picturesque streets of the historic center and admire the natural beauty of Boca do Inferno, a rock formation sculpted by the power of the Atlantic waves.
