For the first meeting point, join us at Raufarholshellir Lava Tunnel for your 9:30 am tour. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early.

After your Lava Tunnel adventure, please drive to our second meeting point in Thingvellir National Park. Your guide will meet you at the Silfra Car Park - ''Arctic Adventures Silfra Fissure''in Google Maps, a short walk from the public parking lot where you may leave your vehicle.

Where to park: Type “Thingvellir Parking P5 ” into Google maps for directions on where you can park your car. Please note: parking fees apply. This is 400m away from where you will meet your guide.

You must be able to walk on unpaved or uneven terrain
Children 11 and younger are not permitted. Guardian's approval is needed for minors under 18
This tour requires you to wear a snorkel mask that does not accommodate eyeglasses. If you wear glasses, you should bring your own prescription snorkel mask or plan to wear contact lenses
You must be able to swim on your own
Prerequisites: Weight limit (45-120 kg) & Height limit (150 cm - 200 cm)
It is important that you can both understand and communicate in English in order to participate in the tour.

What you can expect

During this combo tour, you'll be able to explore Icelandic crystal clear waters while snorkeling as well as you'll be introduced to the underground wonders while exploring the longest lava tube in Iceland. The first part of the tour starts in Raufarhólshellir lava cave which is famous for its stunning minerals - the place of colorful stalagmites and stalactites. The cave is 1360 meters long and the ceiling reaches 10 meters high, so no need to worry about crawling! After caving experience you'll have some time off to grab some lunch and we'll be waiting for you at your next stop - Thingvellir national park for your second activity - snorkeling between Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. The water in Silfra is being declared as the clearest waters on Earth as the visibility reaches close to 150 meters. This is a one-of-a-kind adventure everyone needs to have while in Iceland!
