You set off from Korčula Town harbour at 10:00, sailing out past the medieval walls for one of the best views of the fortified Old Town there is: the stone towers rising straight out of the water, with the Pelješac mountains behind. From there the boat weaves through the archipelago, passing the islands of Stupe, Vrnik and Badija and the coastal village of Lumbarda. The scenery keeps shifting — hidden turquoise bays, rocky beaches, dense pine forest and traditional stone houses — and your captain shares the stories behind them as you go. It is the easiest and most rewarding way to see the little islands that belong to Korčula.
