After check-in, We'll head directly to Kampong Phluk, a flooded fishing village on Tonle Sap Lake, located just 21 kilometers from Siem Reap. From the ferry port, we'll take a local boat to explore the famous floating villages. You'll get to see firsthand what daily life is like for the many families who make their living primarily from fishing. Most families live in brightly colored houses built on long poles, which keeps them safe from the high water levels during the rainy season. We'll then explore the flooded mangrove forest surrounding the village, which is home to a variety of species, including crab-eating macaques. Afterward, we will take you to visit a Buddhist monastery built on an artificial island. You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset from our local boat on Tonle Sap Lake.
