Learn to Sidemount dive with New Zealand Diving and gain the worldwide recognised certification from TDI the foremost technical diving training agency. Courses are run as 2 day events.
Please bring your own sidemount dive gear. Contact us before booking if you need any rentals, and we'll try to accommodate you.

If we have to cancel the activity, we will contact you to reschedule, or you receive store credit.
You'll have to complete the dive medical declaration before participating in any in-water activities, and might need to be signed off by a dive doctor before being allowed to dive.

- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Minimum age is 18 years
- Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive
- Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

Held over 2 days the TDI Sidemount Diver specialty is the perfect course for any technical diver wishing to use this increasingly popular equipment configuration, either as a ‘stand-alone’ course or in conjunction with one of TDI’s other open circuit specialties. It teaches students how to safely utilize side-mounted primary cylinders as an alternative to the traditional back-mounted method.
