From the cruise ship terminal, hop on a double-decker bus and ride into Stockholm's well-preserved medieval center, discovering the cobbled streets and the grand brick façade of the Royal Palace, home to Sweden's royal family. Next to the Palace, you can visit the oldest church in Stockholm, St. Nicolai Storkyrkan Cathedral—an impressive Gothic structure topped with copper spire that stretches skyward.
