  • If the minimum number of participants (30) is not reached, or if operation becomes impossible due to disaster or unforeseen circumstances, the tour may be changed or canceled up to 13 days before departure .
  • Due to road conditions, the time spent in Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go may be shortened.
  • To reach the Shirakawa-go Observatory, a shuttle bus (separate fee, payable on-site) is required. Due to potential traffic or shuttle bus schedule changes, access to the observatory may not be possible, so please understand in advance. Shuttle buses may be suspended without notice due to snow accumulation, icy conditions, poor visibility, or road conditions. Shuttle buses are not available on days when the Shirakawa-go Light-Up event is held.
  • Luggage: We can store your luggage on the bus, but you are responsible for managing your valuables.
  • There will be no lunch break. Please bring your own lunch and eat it on the bus or during your stroll through Shirakawa-go and Hida Takayama.
  • In the event of a delay resulting in the need for a taxi or overnight stay, we are not responsible for any such additional costs.
  • Depending on the number of participants, a mid-size or small bus may be used.
  • Buses do not have onboard toilets. Smoking is prohibited on the bus. Reclining seats are generally not permitted (except on specific tours).
  • Due to the “Work Style Reform Law” enacted on April 1, 2019, the tour conductor’s meal times will also serve as their designated break periods. In some cases, the tour conductor may stay at a different accommodation from the participants. During free time, guests are expected to act independently.
  • Lost and found items will be kept for two weeks after the end of the tour. Perishable or non-preservable items will be disposed of immediately.
