Covering over 300 acres (approximately 180,000 square meters), the area has a long history spanning over a thousand years, with numerous historical remains. The historical and cultural district consists of more than 200 buildings from different periods, including 18 exceptional historical heritage buildings. The old street is also the site of one of the “Twelve Sceneries of Ancient Bayu”—the “Longmenhao Moon,” a spot admired and praised by countless scholars and poets.
