Discover Wuzhen Xizha, one of China’s best-known Jiangnan water towns, on a full-day cultural trip from Shanghai Hongqiao by high-speed train.

Meet your English-speaking guide at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. Your guide will help with the train boarding process before you travel by high-speed rail to Tongxiang, the gateway to Wuzhen. After arrival, transfer by shuttle to Wuzhen Xizha Scenic Area.

Walk through ancient streets, stone bridges, canals, traditional riverside houses, and cultural neighborhoods. Learn about Jiangnan water-town history, Wuzhen’s architecture, and local daily life from your guide.

Then ride a traditional sculling boat through Wuzhen’s canals. Glide past whitewashed walls, black-tiled roofs, stone bridges, and riverside homes, and enjoy classic Jiangnan water-town scenery.

After the boat ride, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace. You may relax at a riverside café, browse local shops, buy souvenirs, take photos, or enjoy the late-afternoon atmosphere of the ancient town.

Later, transfer back to Tongxiang Railway Station and return by high-speed train to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, where the tour ends.
