What you can expect

  • Explore Shanghai by double-decker bus with a ticket valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours from first activation, depending on the option selected. The validity runs from your actual activation time, not by calendar day. For example, activation at 18:00 means expiry at 18:00 the next day for a 24-hour ticket, or at 18:00 two days later for a 48-hour ticket. There is no fixed boarding time: exchange your voucher before your first ride, then travel at any time during the applicable routes’ operating hours within your ticket validity. Any opening time shown is not a mandatory arrival time. Ride the Red, Blue and Green routes and get off at the stops you want to visit. Audio commentary is available in English, Mandarin, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Korean.

    Exchange your voucher before your first ride at one of these three points:

    • New World: West Nanjing Road and Xizang Road intersection.
    • Bund A: across East Zhongshan Road, opposite Bund No. 18.
    • Oriental Pearl Tower: outside Gate 2.
