We are Libby and Zak Bound, a Falkland Islands-based couple with a deep passion for our incredible islands and their fascinating historical polar history. Zak is particularly connected to this rich heritage as the son of Mensun Bound, a renowned marine archaeologist born in the Falkland Islands. Mensun made history in 2022 when he was tasked with finding Sir Ernest Shackleton's legendary ship, Endurance, in the Weddell Sea, an achievement that has captivated a worldwide audience, adding another remarkable chapter to the region's storied past.
