Your day begins at our shop where you will meet your ACA-certified guide. After gearing up, you'll be transported to Lowell Point Beach, passing through historic Seward. At the beach, you'll receive a safety briefing and get acquainted with your gear before hitting the water. As you paddle, your guide will share fascinating insights about the local flora, fauna, geology, and history of Seward.
The journey to Bridal Veil Falls Beach covers approximately 4 miles round trip, with an average paddling time of 3.5 to 4 hours. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a short hike to the 100-foot waterfall, where you can marvel at the stunning views of Godwin Glacier in the Chugach Mountain range. Enjoy a provided lunch on the beach, complete with hot chocolate, hot cider, and snacks.
Throughout the trip, keep an eye out for wildlife, such as bald eagles, harbor seals, sea otters, and more. In early May, you might even spot humpback, fin, or killer whales. The tour concludes with a return paddle to Lowell Point Beach, followed by transportation back to your starting point.
