What you can expect

  • Start your Seoul day by changing into a traditional Hanbok at a local rental shop, setting the tone for a day of history and culture. Step into Gyeongbokgung Palace, where you can watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony. With its colorful costumes and precise movements that reflect the Joseon Dynasty, it is a great moment to take photos in your Hanbok against the palace backdrop.

On the way, you’ll stop briefly at the National Palace Museum of Korea for a quick look at royal artifacts from the Joseon Dynasty.

Next, take a relaxing break at the Bukchon Dongyang Cultural Museum. Enjoy traditional Korean tea and Yakgwa, a traditional honey cookie, while taking in the view over the rooftops of Bukchon.

Then wander through the narrow lanes of Bukchon Hanok Village. Lined with traditional Korean houses, this neighborhood offers a glimpse into how people lived in Seoul generations ago and a closer look at Korea’s cultural heritage.

Your tour ends at Baek In-je’s House, a preserved early 20th-century home that shows how Korea’s upper class lived during that period. Please note that Baek In-je’s House is closed on Mondays, so on Monday tours you’ll spend more time at the National Palace Museum of Korea instead.

This itinerary brings together Seoul’s royal history and traditional neighborhoods, covering some of the city’s most iconic sites in one day.
