Begin with a 20-minute shuttle from Queenstown to Arrowtown, where your guide shares gold-rush history and provides a bike and safety orientation. Cycle along rivers, bridges, and alpine scenery toward the Gibbston wine region. Stop at cellar doors such as Gibbston Valley (Wine Cave tour with 3 tastings), Rockburn, Kinross (platters available), and Mount Rosa (wine by the fire). Tastings and food are additional, and bookings are recommended in peak season. Ride a 2024 Trek Marlin 6 or upgrade to a premium e-bike (recommended for most riders, 150cm min.). Conclude with a 4:00 pm pick-up from the wineries, returning to Queenstown by 5:00 pm. This 7-hour tour combines Arrowtown’s heritage, stunning cycling trails, and world-class wines in one unforgettable day.
