Located on the limestone soils of Grande Champagne, the Logis de La Brée estate is at the heart of the history of double distillation. Its old wine cellar was once an outbuilding of the residence of the Chevalier de la Croix Maron, who, according to legend, was the originator of double distillation.
The Raby family has owned the vineyard for five generations. It is located in the commune of Segonzac. They cultivate 45 hectares of vines of four different varieties: Ugni Blanc (used for cognac), Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Colombard.
The estate now offers a wide range of products that is constantly expanding: Cognacs, Charente wines, Pineaux des Charentes, liqueurs, and grape juice.
