  • You must be 14 years or older to participate in our Shark Dive Xtreme experience.
  • A parent or guardian must accompany children under 18.
  • No previous dive experience is required however, you MUST have a reasonable degree of swimming ability to be able to participate
  • All divers MUST be able to speak English and have a reasonable degree of swimming ability. For health and safety reasons we are unable to allow non-English speakers to dive with our sharks.
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Scuba Diving is physically demanding and can be dangerous if you suffer from certain medical conditions. It is very important that you, the diver, do not suffer from any contraindications to diving. You must also be able to carry up to 40kg of diving equipment.
  • Please carefully read the list of medical conditions that may prohibit you from taking part in the Shark Dive for your own safety. (Asthma, Heart Disease, Epilepsy, Diabetes, Chest Conditions including Pneumothorax, Sinus Conditions, Ear problems/surgery, High blood pressure)
  • If you suffer from or have suffered from any of the above medical conditions OR If you suffer from any other medical conditions, including recent injuries, surgeries or psychological conditions then you will be required to obtain a fully completed medical clearance from your doctor prior to booking
  • If you are pregnant, or planning to become pregnant, please do not book.

Get your adrenaline pumping and take the plunge in one of the most thrilling animal encounters in Australia. Shark Dive Xtreme is a rare opportunity to get closer than ever to our incredible Grey Nurse sharks, Reef sharks, Wobbegong sharks, as well as giant stingrays, and many more amazing sea creatures… all without a cage!
Shark Dive Xtreme is one of only a few experiences worldwide where you're guaranteed an underwater encounter with sharks. Our colony of Grey Nurse sharks range in size from 2.5 to 3.2 metres, and when you do your dive with us, you get to enter their domain - without any barriers!
Shark Dive Xtreme is suitable for first time divers with no previous diving experience required. This experience is suitable for ages 14+ and a reasonable degree of swimming ability is required to participate. Please ensure you check the restrictions and medical requirements on the SEA LIFE website prior to booking.
Shark Dive Xtreme runs on selected dates, with two timeslots available to choose from per day. Each timeslot can accommodate up to four people - so pre-booking is essential. Book your passes ahead for this popular tour, which includes a full scuba training session, use of all gear, and supervision by a guide as you dive in the huge aquarium.
