Villa Comunale Harbor View

Begin at the Villa Comunale Ignazio Scaturro, a historic garden located in Piazza Saverio Friscia and open since 1880. Walk along geometric avenues and shaded paths, observing pines, ficus trees and palms that characterise the park. Then reach the Belvedere, a panoramic terrace expanded in the 1930s, from which you will have views of Sciacca's port on one side and the Thermal Park on the other. During the stop the guide will explain the history of the garden and the monuments present, including those dedicated to Saverio Friscia. You will be able to pause by the pond and the park benches. Inside you will observe the marble statue of Maria Santissima del Soccorso, patron saint of the town, and the 19th-century stuccowork decorations.
