Imagine pushing open the door of a 1970s gondola… and discovering a firewood Sauna, perched at an elevation of more than 1,600 meters in the Pyrenees.
Upon arrival, the Harvia firewood stove is already hot and waiting for you. A guide welcomes you and explains the ritual: how to make the most of the heat, manage the sessions, and alternate with a cold bath if you wish. You are in good hands.
The session lasts 1 hour. The process is simple and natural: a first session of about 15 minutes in the dry heat of the sauna, a break in the open air to cool off, then one or two more sessions as you wish. Every moment is different. The body relaxes, and the mind follows.
A little surprise awaits you halfway through to enhance the experience.
Everything is included: wood, towels, and a personalized welcome. Come in your swimsuit. Here, it's like being at the beach, in the heart of nature, without a changing room. A bathrobe can also be useful between sessions if you are sensitive to the cold.
The parking place is 100 meters away. In just a few steps, you're transported to another world: silence, peaks, and 360° views of the Pyrenees from the large windows of the gondola.
