What you can expect

Experience a stylish and unique way to cross the lake on a boat equipped with a wood-fired sauna. Relax and take in the breathtaking beauty of the Arctic landscapes from the comfort of the sauna under the midnight sun. The floating sauna beautifully combines traditional Finnish sauna design with the serene lake surroundings, offering an unforgettable experience. This one-of-a-kind experience is available from May to September in Lapland.

After the sauna, you can take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear lake or simply relax and enjoy the fresh air from the boat. Our captain will navigate to different spots on the lake, giving you the best views of the stunning summer landscapes. Meanwhile, your guide will prepare a cozy campfire and serve delicious pork sausages and hot blueberry juice. Often, birds will whirl overhead, adding their songs to the peaceful atmosphere of your journey.

*Please note that the official midnight sun season in Rovaniemi is from June 6th to July 7th. However, even outside of this period, you can still enjoy the bright summer nights and beautiful sunsets, and we will continue to operate the activity as long as the nights are sufficiently long.
