Dive into the world of truffles on the various floors and in rooms steeped in history. Go back in time to learn more about the history of Sarlat, watch interactive projections, take part in fun activities and enjoy a tasty truffle tasting.

The tour is divided into four floors, each with its own themes and activities:

  • The tour starts on the 4th floor, with the history of Sarlat: watch a projection in a medieval and rustic setting on the key events that have made this town a jewel of the Périgord Noir. From the 12th century to the present day, retrace the town's historic periods and discover all its secrets.

  • Next, on the 3rd floor, an immersive experience: travel to the heart of the truffle through the seasons via a light and sound projection. Enjoy an extraordinary visual spectacle to find out more about the different types of truffle.

  • Then continue your visit on the 2nd floor, where you can learn more about this exceptional product and discover all its mysteries… From its origins to truffle-growing and different cooking techniques, soak up the complexity of the black diamond and discover all its facets. Take part in an interactive journey to the heart of truffle-growing, to learn while you marvel.

  • Finally, end your visit on the 1st floor, where you can learn about the history of the Signorini family: from its origins to the creation of the brand, discover how the passion for truffles has been passed down through the generations. Awaken your five senses with fun and tasty activities for all the family. Learn about the flavours of truffles from our teams, who will share their knowledge and passion for this unique delicacy.
