What you can expect

On this 3–4 hour city tour, your local guide takes you on a journey through time and the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. You'll discover Sarajevo's landmarks, hear the stories of the diverse cultures that shaped the city — and still shape it today — and learn about the rich, complex tapestry of people who have called this place home for centuries.

Along the way, you'll taste the flavors of Sarajevo: city-specific baklava, the classic Bosnian dessert tufahija, and local cheeses and cured meats straight from the market. And you'll pause for a traditional Bosnian coffee, where your guide will explain what makes this ritual so special — because in Sarajevo, coffee is never just coffee.

Our tours are in small groups (max. 8 participants) or private, so you can ask questions and explore what interests you most: history, the Siege of Sarajevo, architecture, food, or local life, your guide will focus on what matters to you. This tour should feel more like a conversation with a local friend than a guided city tour.
