Depart from Sa Pa town and begin your journey along O Quy Ho Pass. Along the road, see lush chayote gardens stretching across the hillsides, an important farming area that supplies most of the fresh vegetables for Sa Pa.
Pass Silver Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sa Pa and an important source of clean water for the town. Stop briefly to view the waterfall from the roadside without entering the crowded tourist area.
After traveling about twenty kilometers, the landscape begins to change. Small tea hills appear, and as you reach Ho Bon village, the tea plantations become more visible and expansive. The tea hills gently rise and fall around small hills. Their curves are not straight or uniform but follow the natural terrain, creating a scene that feels almost like a fairytale landscape.
As you descend further, flat rice fields stretch out below. Thanks to the unique climate, rice is grown year-round here, so the fields are almost always green or golden depending on the season. Continue to Tan Uyen, where you stop to rest and enjoy lunch.
After lunch, visit a hot spring to relax, unwind, and enjoy a gentle moment of rest. Then, continue toward Doi Bon village, following the tea hills of Tan Uyen on your way back to Sa Pa. In the afternoon light, the scenery becomes softer and more tranquil.
Return to Sa Pa at around 4:00 PM, concluding a gentle yet meaningful day that offers a true sense of the tea hills and mountain life of Northwest Vietnam.
