A slow trekking experience through rice terraces, beautiful mountain, hidden villages, and real local life.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Sapa – Dragon Mountain – Hang Da – Hau Thao
Trekking distance: ~12 km

9:00 - Meet your local H’Mong guide at Anh Nhi Hotel in Sapa town.
Begin trekking uphill to Dragon Mountain for panoramic valley views. Walk through quiet trails and villages toward Hang Da village.

12:00 Lunch at a local restaurant with scenic views. Enjoy some local foods.

Afternoon trek through rice terraces fields, mountain scenery and bamboo forests to Hau Thao Village.

15:30 - Arrive at the local homestay

Evening activities at the homestay: Relax, shower. You can join a cooking together with the local family (Optional).

17:00 - The homestay serve some fresh and yumy potato chip

18:00 - Enjoy local traditional home made dinner. Try some local happy water. Share local story and history. Play some simple local games are available — always optional. Stay overnight at a local cozy homestay in the village.

Day 2: Hau Thao – Giang Ta Chai – Return to Sapa

Trekking distance: ~ 5 km

8:30 - Breakfast at the homestay

Morning walk through some of Sapa’s most scenic rice terraces. Follow village paths toward Giang Ta Chai, along the Muong Hoa stream. Visit a small local waterfall. Waterfall flow depends on season (may be light during dry months).

12:30 - Lunch at a local restaurant with nice view.

Afternoon car/van transfer back to Sapa town

Tour ends around 14:00–14:30

GOOD TO KNOW

Moderate to challenging trekking level – suitable for travelers with a reasonable level of fitness.

Trekking distance: approx. 6–12 km per day. Please bring comfortable trekking shoes, rain jacket, sunscreen, insect repellent.
