Begin your tour with a visit to Ta Phin Village, located about 12 km from the center of Sa Pa town. This village is the long-standing home of the Red Dao and Hmong ethnic groups. Stroll along peaceful village paths, admire terraced rice fields, ancient earthen houses, and visit the ancient Ta Phin Monastery with its French architectural influences.
Next, head to Sa Seng Village, situated on a high mountain slope. Leave the hustle and bustle of the town center and immerse yourself in the tranquil village atmosphere of the Hmong people. Admire the winding terraced rice fields, rustic wooden houses, and panoramic views of the Sa Pa valley.
Continue to Ham Rong Mountain, where a magnificent mountain landscape unfolds before your eyes, with Sa Pa town hidden in the mist, terraced rice fields, and the undulating Hoang Lien Son mountain range in the distance. Pass through meticulously maintained flower gardens with many characteristic high-mountain flowers that bloom seasonally.
Stop at Heaven's Gate and Cloud Terrace, famous check-in points where you can clearly feel the fresh, cool air and the “ethereal” beauty of Sa Pa. Admire the large and small rock formations stacked to create unique small caves, associated with the legend of Ham Rong Mountain – a dragon's head facing the sky, its body winding through the mountains.
Finally, trek from Hang Da village down to Giang Ta Chai village. Pass through terraced rice fields stretching along the mountain slopes, admire the green valley, flowing streams, and small bamboo bridges, and visit the homes of H'Mong and Dao ethnic groups to learn about their daily lives.
