We will start our sightseeing tour at the meeting point at the Quilín Metro Station, on Line 4 of the Santiago Metro.
From there, we will depart by vehicle to the location of the sightseeing tour, about 15 minutes away.
We'll visit the Quebrada de Macul Natural Park and head into the mountains through the Quebrada de Macul.
We'll try to reach the San Juan Waterfall, which is located at the bottom of the ravine.
We'll make frequent stops to observe aspects of the flora, fauna and geology of the area. You'll be able to get to know the nature of the precordillera of the Andes Mountains in central Chile.
You'll be able to spot different species of birds, and even, if you're lucky, one of the condors that sometimes fly over the ravine.
I'll teach you about the various species of plants found in the area, as well as their traditional uses.
Once we reach our destination, we will have a light snack and then start the return trip.
Before finishing, we'll take a detour that will take us into a forest of native trees, along the banks of the Estero de Macul.
We'll return by vehicle again until we reach the meeting point at the Quilín Metro Station, on line 4 of the Santiago Metro.
This is an immersive experience in Chilean nature that will probably amaze you, both because of the variety of things to see and learn about and because of how close it is to Santiago.
