On this sightseeing tour, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in a minivan to visit the city's most iconic sites.

Your first stop will be for a walking tour where you'll learn about the history of the city's historic center. Here, we'll visit the imposing Cathedral of Santander and learn about the history of this church that has watched the city grow over the centuries. We'll continue our walk to see the Pereda Gardens and go up to the roof of the cutting-edge Centro Botín, a cultural and architectural landmark of the city.

Next, we'll head to the iconic Palacio de la Magdalena, a former summer residence of the Spanish royals and the building that served as the setting for the TV series “Gran Hotel.” Access to the peninsula is restricted, so we can get there either by taking a stroll around the area or by hopping on the tourist train known as “El Magdaleno,” which will take us comfortably around the peninsula.

After visiting the area around the palace, we'll get back in the vehicle for a scenic drive through El Sardinero, Santander's most elegant and touristy neighborhood, known for its wide avenues and stately character. It will be a scenic tour in our minivan to see the Casino del Sardinero, Racing Santander's stadium, Mataleñas Beach, and more.

The sightseeing tour will culminate with a visit to the stunning Cabo Mayor Lighthouse, a prime spot to admire the cliffs and the power of the Cantabrian Sea. A perfect ending that encapsulates the natural beauty and unique character of Santander.
