Experience a special encounter with the vibrant culture of the indigenous communities of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Your guided tour is in Spanish. The meeting point is the restaurant in the Eco-Hotel Taironaka (Don Diego River). You have the option of arriving by boat (for a surcharge) and already enjoying the impressive natural surroundings on the way. You will receive a traditional drink as a welcome before your indigenous guide personally opens the approximately 1-hour tour.

Together, you will explore the historic terraces and learn more about their spiritual and cultural significance. Next, you will visit the antiquities exhibition, where the history of the region and its indigenous peoples will be vividly explained to you. The special finale is a meeting with other members of the community – an authentic encounter that gives you an in-depth insight into their culture.
