Your itinerary:
Departure from the Coast: We start our journey at 8:45 AM, picking you up at your accommodation in Santa Marta, Taganga, or El Rodadero. After a journey of approximately 50 minutes, the air becomes cooler as we ascend into the mountains.
Coffee Immersion at Finca La Victoria: Our first major stop is the historic Finca La Victoria. Here, time seems to stand still. You'll learn about the organic coffee process using machinery that dates back to the Industrial Revolution and is powered by water. You'll stroll among the coffee plants in their natural environment and, of course, delight your senses with a tasting of one of the best organic coffees in the region.
Local Flavors and Relaxation: We will return to the village of Minca to enjoy a traditional lunch prepared with local ingredients that support the Sierra Nevada community.
Refreshing dip at Marinka's Waterfalls: After recharging our batteries, we'll take a vehicle to the entrance of the famous Marinka's Waterfalls. We'll take a leisurely 10-minute hike under the shade of the jungle to reach the waterfalls. Here, you'll have plenty of time for a refreshing swim in the natural pools, surrounded by a soundscape dominated by nature.
Drop-off: At 3:30 p.m., we'll begin our descent back to Santa Marta, arriving at your accommodation with the satisfaction of having experienced a day of genuine connection with the mountains.
