Know before you book

  • Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Average fitness level required - A lot of of walking is involved.
  • Wear comfortable clothes, closed shoes, long thick socks, sunblock, hat, sunglasses, warm jacket in winter (dress warm in winter and bring a windbreaker/rain jacket). Bring water (min 1L pp). It is important to stay hydrate, especially in summer when it gets really hot at and on the dunes.
  • Subject to favorable weather conditions. If cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or refund.
  • Minimum age is 4 years.
  • Children between 4 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • This trip requires a minimum number of guests/travellers in order to operate. If the tour is cancelled because the minimum requirement was not reached, you will be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • The start time is subject to change and may at times run as a later morning or afternoon trip.
