We're the longest running Salsa experience in Puerto Rico! Led by a local Puerto Rican dancer, you'll:
- Learn basic Latin dancing steps and techniques
- Get a cultural history lesson about music in the Caribbean
- Sip a complimentary cocktail
- Dance to a live Salsa band with the locals
We'll start with a warm-up so you can learn basic Latin dancing skills with an easy Caribbean step called “Merengue”. Then we'll move into “Salsa”, first learning about the history of the music as the guide demonstrates with local instruments. Then we'll apply those skills from the warm-up to dance the Salsa step. Now class is over & you’re ready to hit the dance floor! The DJ starts playing & the locals arrive as you're served a complimentary cocktail. As you're dancing, a live Salsa band will get up to play!
