What you can expect

  • 6:00 AM Departure from Santa Cruz
    10:00 AM Arrival and visit to the village of San José de Chiquitos,
    founded by the Jesuits of the Society of Jesus in 1698.
    Visit to the Missionary Temple of San José de Chiquitos and the missionary
    museum. San José has the only temple built entirely
    in stone, displaying a style typical of the Missions of
    Paraguay and northern Argentina.
    12:30 p.m. Lunch service
    2:00 PM Visit to 1 artisan pascana (choice of one) to see
    either the looms or the work on the famous masks
    of San José
