What you can expect

Enjoy a full-day tour from Florence through the heart of Tuscany, visiting San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, the Chianti countryside and Siena, with lunch and wine tasting included.

Your day begins in San Gimignano, a beautifully preserved medieval hill town and UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its towers, frescoes and historic charm. With the tour leader, reach the town center and enjoy around two hours of free time to explore its cobbled streets, artisan shops and scenic viewpoints.

Continue to the medieval village of Monteriggioni, enclosed by its original walls, where you will have free time to explore this authentic Tuscan gem.

Travel through the rolling Chianti hills to a local winery and discover the region’s wine traditions. Enjoy a tasting of three Chianti wines, followed by a traditional Tuscan lunch made with locally sourced products, ending with cantucci biscuits and Vin Santo.

In the afternoon, arrive in Siena for a guided walking tour with a professional local guide. Stroll through the historic center, visit Piazza del Campo and admire the stunning Siena Cathedral from the outside or inside, depending on the option selected.

Before returning to Florence in the evening, enjoy some free time to soak in the unique atmosphere of Siena.
