Enjoy a journey through the old and modern cultural treasures of Oman’s Dhofar region and
its capital, Salalah. We begin with a full visit to the Sultan Qaboos Mosque, a masterpiece of
Islamic architecture. From there, we drive through the lush plantations of coconut, banana,
and papaya. Guests will have the chance to enjoy fresh coconut water and taste the
famous sugar bananas of Salalah. Our next stop is the Al Baleed Museum, where you will be
introduced to the rich history and culture of Dhofar. Continuing to Al Hafa, admire the
traditional Dhofari houses with their carved wooden doors and caravan-style windows.
Walking past the Old Sultan’s Palace (Al Husn), we arrive at the Old Souk, a vibrant
marketplace offering frankincense, traditional clothing, crafts, and natural cosmetics. The
tour concludes with a photo stop at Al Hafa Beach, one of Oman’s most picturesque
beaches, lined with coconut palms and white sandy shores, before returning to your hotel.
