Crossing Santa Maria, we will reach the calm Murdeira Bay, dominated by Monte Leão (Lion Mountain). After a short stop, we will leave for a brief visit to the capital Espargos and the picturesque fishing village of Palmeira with its commercial harbor. Continuing east, we will cross the Terraboa desert until we reach the famous Pedra de Lume Volcano for a relaxing “floating” swim in the salt pools.
Afterwards, lunch will be served in the panoramic restaurant located inside the volcano, exclusively for Cabo Verde Time customers. Next, we will head to the famous shark beach called “Shark Bay”, where we can have a close encounter with the small lemon sharks. The last stop on our tour will be the beautiful beach of Ponta Preta for a possible last swim before hotel drop-off.
