Passing through Santa Maria, we will reach the calm Murdeira Bay, dominated by Monte Leão (Lion Mountain). After a short stop, we'll set off again for a brief visit to the capital, Espargos, and the picturesque fishing village of Palmeira with its commercial harbor. Continuing eastward, we will cross the Terraboa Desert until we reach the famous Pedra de Lume volcano for a relaxing “floating” dip in the salt pools.
Next, lunch will be served in the scenic restaurant located inside the volcano, exclusively for Cabo Verde Time customers. We will then head to the famous shark beach known as “Shark Bay”, where we can have an up-close encounter with small lemon sharks. The last stop on our tour will be the beautiful beach of Ponta Preta for a possible final swim before our hotel drop-off.
