Toasted ravioli, Provel cheese and gooey butter cake rarely make it beyond St. Louis, and this tour puts all three on your plate in one walk through downtown. In three hours you’ll taste 5 local originals with a guide who knows the story behind each one, including a Provel-sealed calzone and brisket smoked low and slow at a pitmaster-led smokehouse.
Start at the Old Courthouse, hear how the 1904 World’s Fair and Olympics put St. Louis on the map, and stroll the grand brick blocks of Washington Avenue before finishing in sight of the Gateway Arch. The first stop? A Secret Dish at a spot locals have loved for over a century, revealed only when it hits your table.
