Saigon Central Post Office
Step inside one of Saigon’s most iconic colonial landmarks (built 1886–1891). Designed by architect Alfred Foulhoux—often mistakenly linked to Gustave Eiffel—the building features a soaring barrel-vaulted ceiling, vintage telephone booths, and beautifully tiled maps that showcase the city’s past.
Saigon Notre Dame Basilica (exterior visit)
Constructed between 1877 and 1880 with materials imported from France, this Romanesque-Revival basilica (with some Gothic touches) remains a beloved symbol of the city. While restoration works may limit interior access, the red-brick façade and the square by the Virgin Mary statue make a classic backdrop—popular for couples’ pre-wedding photos.
War Remnants Museum
A powerful and thought-provoking museum documenting the Vietnam War through award-winning photojournalism, aircraft and armored vehicles, and curated thematic galleries. Exhibits can be emotionally intense; your guide can tailor the visit to your interests and pace.
Reunification Palace (Independence Palace)
A time-capsule of 1960s modernist architecture and a historic site where the Vietnam War effectively ended in 1975. Explore the grand reception halls, underground command rooms, and the rooftop helicopter pad as your guide brings the building’s stories to life.
