This hands-on cake decorating class with Chef Birdie transforms simple cupcakes into your own frosted creations. You’ll begin with a behind-the-scenes look at how to make rich, fluffy buttercream frosting using heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla and just the right pinch of salt. Next, it’s time to decorate. Using pre-baked cupcakes, you’ll practice crumb coating, piping and layering techniques before finishing with bright sprinkles, playful candies and eye-catching designs.
