Begin your adventure with a gentle paddle across the lake, then explore the beautiful River Nene. Perfect as a first-time paddle, this experience is suitable for all-adult groups or adult with child aged 8 and up.

Unless conditions dictate otherwise, stay between the two nearest locks on the river, exploring the lovely sheltered stretch of river amidst the local nature reserve. Choose to explore downstream as far as Higham Ferrers Lock.

When you paddle back, perhaps enjoy one of the many excellent cafes and restaurants at Rushden Lakes before heading home.
